Important points to note when purchasing
Before purchasing, please read the following information carefully before proceeding.
★Things to check before purchasing
1. Check the SIM lock. Please make sure that your smartphone is a "SIM-free device" or "SIM-unlocked."
*You cannot use this service unless the SIM lock is released.
1-1. How to check SIM lock <<iPhone>>
Settings > General > About > SIM Lock *If your SIM is locked, please go through the unlocking process with your carrier separately.
1-2. How to check SIM lock <<Android>>
Settings > Device/Device Information > SIM Card Status *If it says "Allowed/Allowed", it has been unlocked.
Please go through the unlocking procedure separately with your carrier.
*Depending on the device, the SIM lock status may not be displayed and may not be possible to check.
In that case, please check with the place of purchase of the device.
If your SIM is locked, you will need to go through the unlocking process with your carrier separately.
2-1. Checking eSIM compatibility <<iPhone>>
Enter "*#06#" from the dial pad, and if the EID is displayed in "Device Information," the device is eSIM compatible.
*Please note that iPhones in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau do not have eSIM functionality.
(Excluding iPhone 13 mini, 12 mini, SE 2020, and XS)
2-2. Checking eSIM compatibility <<Android>>
Enter "*#06#" from the dial pad, and if the EID is displayed in "Device Information," the device is eSIM compatible.
*Depending on the model, the EID may be installed even if it is not displayed, so if you cannot check it by pressing "*#06#", please check by going to "Settings" → "Device Information/Terminal" → SIM Slot 2 → Check EID (slot without SIM inserted).
*If your device was purchased overseas, please check with the manufacturer or carrier before purchasing an eSIM.
Depending on the country or region, even the same model may not be compatible with eSIM.
3. Internet environment to prepare in advance I. Wi-Fi environment II. Device connected to the internet, such as a PC (device other than the one you plan to use with eSIM)
4. Compatible models: Please make sure that your device is an eSIM-compatible iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR or later.
For Android, please make sure that your device is eSIM compatible.
5. To set up the eSIM, you will need to read the QR code in the email containing the QR code you received after purchasing using the barcode reader function on your device and complete the procedure yourself.
In this case, an internet connection is required.
6. Regarding the issuance of the activation code: After purchase, an activation code notification email will be sent to the email address entered at the time of purchase.
Normally, the delivery will be completed within about 5 minutes after purchase.
7. Other notes: *If you encounter any problems during installation, do not delete the eSIM and contact support.
*For security reasons, eSIM can only be installed on one device once.
*Please install the app in a stable communication environment before you depart.
*For some products, use is considered to have begun from the moment of installation, so please carefully read the notes in the email beforehand.
*For products that do not include information about when you can start using the service, use will begin once the device receives a signal locally, so we recommend installing the eSIM 1-2 days before traveling.
★About this product
1. This product is an eSIM . No parcel will be delivered. You will receive an email with a QR code.
Please be sure to use a device that supports the frequency, a SIM-free or SIM-unlocked device, or an eSIM-compatible model.
2. This is a disposable prepaid product . Please note that we do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for any reason.
Additional charges are not available.
3. Regarding QR codes: QR codes cannot be reissued for this prepaid product.
Therefore, it is not possible to use the service across devices, regardless of the reason, such as changing models or malfunctioning.
This code can only be used once and cannot be reissued for any reason.
Once you have entered the activation code (or the profile read from the QR code), if you delete it, it cannot be restored for any reason.
Once used, this code cannot be used on another device.
4. This product is a roaming eSIM. In addition to enabling data communication, please also check "Data Roaming" (enable it).
5. This product is for data communication only.
SMS function and voice contract are not included. *International roaming is not supported.
6. Tethering function: Only available on models that support tethering.
7. If you are using iOS, there may be interference if a configuration profile from another SIM remains.
Be sure to delete the configuration profiles for other SIMs. (Settings → General → VPN and Device Management → Open the screen.)
